This is the scene I was working on finally textured. Mapping for Games is the class that I did this for. I was given the project file, and I used combined textures to create a run down, abandoned basement scene. I still need to work on the lighting, and fix minor texture details, but over all this is what I have made.

The Inamous Jango Fett. This quarter I am in a 3D environment design class and my concept is a Mandalorean refuge after the great civil war on Mandalore. Jango hides out in a droid repair shop, but is a front for his war efforts trying to re-connect with his lost Mandalore commrades.

One of my teachers is having a contest to see which of his students can make something cool out of the picture he supplied us of himself. I really like StarCraft 2, so this is what I came up with. There were certain criteria. 1. We had to use the photo he gave us, and 2. We had to include a reflection of some kind in his sunglasses.
The next piece was just me having fun again in Photoshop CS4. I like how it came out. And yes it is ME. I AM SUPERMAN.

This is the first pass I did on the classic hero. I am not happy with his face, and I think I can really push it further with more attitude. I was looking over some of my old work and I realized that I need to push facial expressions and ease up on the stiffness.

Happy New Year everybody out there! I am so excited for 2010! I am planning big things for this year creatively, so keep an eye or two out for my stuff. To kick off things here on my blog, I am back to 3D modeling. This time I am in my eighth quarter, and I am working hard on a scene for a materials and lighting course. Hope you like it, I will keep you posted. Stay creative!
